Workshops and events are held at various locations in Cromer and the surrounding area. Whether you’re brand new to sewing, looking to build on your skills, or would like to join our growing sewing community; my workshops are designed to be supportive, creative, and confidence-boosting. Just bring your machine and your curiosity.
Alterations & Repairs
I offer a professional alteration and repairs service, covering a wide range of garment needs – from adjusting hems and waistbands, to mending tears and replacing zips. Please note that availability is limited and turnaround times vary.
Cromer Seamstress
After 15 years working behind the scenes in the professional costume industry, Katy returned to her hometown of Cromer in 2023 to start a new chapter – this time, sharing her skills with others.

Private Events
Celebrate something special with a sewing session. I host relaxed, creative events for birthdays, hen parties, and small groups — a unique way to gather, make, and share.
Private Lessons
I have a limited number of slots for 1:1 lessons or 1:2 lessons which can be booked subject to availability. These are held at Cromer Seamstress’ small home studio.
Private Commissions
I create custom sewn and machine-knit pieces, from unique garments to restoration projects. Whether it’s a bespoke make or repairing a treasured item, each project is crafted with care.
Alterations & Repairs
I also offer a small, local alterations service — from hemming trousers and replacing zips to garment repairs and turning up curtains. If it needs a stitch or a little extra love, I can help.
